Augustine Kiprone CHOGE (Kenya), winner junior men :
« Everything was fantastic, the course, the weather, the crowd. My aim was to win, only to win, I was there fort that. Before the race, my tactic was to stay with the best group, and wait for the last lap to increase the pace. Everything happened exactly the way I wanted. I’m very happy ».

Bernard Kiprop KIPYEGO (Kenya), second of the juniors race :
« It was a very difficult race. Did I expect to win a medal? (laughing) Of course I did! »

Barnabas Kosgei (Kenya), third of the juniors race :
« It was great »

Kenenisa BEKELE (Ethiopie), winner long race men :
« The race was harder and mudier than yesterday. And the others competitors were fresher than me, because they haven’t run yesterday. I expected my strongest competitors to be Kipchoge and Tadesse. Running neck to neck with Kipchoge was a very difficult part of the race. But I believed my finish would be strong enough to win today. Theses victories are more significant the previous ones because in the past I had my fiancee with me, supporting me ».

Abdullah Ahmad HASSAN (Qatar), third long race men :
« I’m very happy, a third place is a fantastic result, for myself and for my country. These last three weeks, I couldn’t train because of an injury (Achilles). I’m still feeling the pain. I couldn’t sprint during the race. But I fight to have a good result for my team. I started to think about a podium in the last lap. Now, I’m gonna make a break before starting to train for the outdoor season ».

Tirunesh DIBABA (Ethiopie), winner short race women :
« It’s very good. The mud and the logs made it a little bit harder than yesterday. The logs bothered me more today than yesterday. But I’m very happy. Winning the two races, like Kenenisa Bekele, I have dreamt of  ».
