« The race was harder and mudier than yesterday. And the others competitors were fresher than me, because they haven’t run yesterday. I expected my strongest competitors to be Kipchoge and Tadesse. Running neck to neck with Kipchoge was a very difficult part of the race. But I believed my finish would be strong enough to win today. Theses victories are more significant the previous ones because in the past I had my fiancee with me, supporting me ».

« I’m very happy, a third place is a fantastic result, for myself and for my country. These last three weeks, I couldn’t train because of an injury (Achilles). I’m still feeling the pain. I couldn’t sprint during the race. But I fight to have a good result for my team. I started to think about a podium in the last lap.
